Exciting News! New Pixie Cottage Design Team Member!

                                                                 

Well, Very Good Morning to Everyone,

Today I want to share with you my exciting news! I have been asked to join the Pixie Cottage Design Team! I   have known for quite a while now, but Michelle from the Pixie Cottage asked us very nicely to keep it to ourselves for a bit until she has made the announcement, and today is that day! Yay!

             

                                                      

So we have a new challenge starting today over on the Pixie Cottage Challenge blog.

The Pixie Cottage Challenge #70 - Sketch and/or Strawberries & Cream

As always we have 2 parts to the challenge and you can choose either or both to play along with.
We have a fabulous sketch and our theme this week is Strawberries & Cream, mmmm yummy!

So why don't you pop over and see what the rest of my teamies has got for your inspiration! They work is just absolutely wonderful!

So here's mine:

I used the lovely sketch, even though I think I got a bit carried away...lol bit I still sticked to the theme which is Strawberries and Cream.

                   

I chose this lovely image that is available from Mo's Digital Pencil, isn't she just adorable? And this lovely sentiment is available in rubber from Pixie Cottage!

I coloured her using my Promarkers.

I then used the cricut to cut her out in a circle shape and then layered her onto the scalloped circle.

My background papers is both from the My mind's eye - lime twist paper stack ( I just love these papers soooo much).

I hand made the flowers by cutting them out from matching papers, using a flower template and a circle punch.

I then added the paper lace border and the swirls which I cut out using the cricut as well.

Lastly I added all the little pearls and the Ribbon bow.
