Pixie Cottage is Going back to School

Good Morning all my Lovely Blogging Friends,

How are you all doing today? Yes it is Wednesday again and I can't believe how the time has flown by!

We have a new challenge again for everyone to play with over at Pixie Cottage, 

and as usual we have two parts to the challenge, so you can use either the lovely sketch or our theme, which is Back to School this week, or you can do both.

Okay so here we go,

Card Recipe:

Image: I used the Bench (A Place to sit)  from The Pixie Cottage and Tilda writing her diary. My images was coloured using my Promarkers and then cut out.

Papers: Is from Nitwits and is called Live 'n Learn

Embellishments: The big metal buttons is from my local bead shop and the letters was cut out using Platin Schoolbook font and a Cricut machine.

Pixie Cottage DT Card - Sketch & Technique

Good Morning Everyone,

How are you all doing this morning! 

Yes, it is Wednesday again, I don't know where the time is flying?

It's time for a new challenge again at Pixie Cottage!

We have another lovely sketch by Katie this week, but remember we have always got two parts to the challenge either the sketch or a theme.

This week we have a technique!

I went for Paper Piecing as my technique.

My Recipe:

My image is a Rubber Stamp from Pixie Cottage and its called Fall Friend.

I paper pieced his dungarees, shirt, hat and shoes and the rest I coloured using my Promarkers. My backing papers is from a paper stack Milton & Co by Wild rose Studios. Everything else is just from my stash.

Morning Bloggers and All My lovely Followers....

And yes you all know why I am here today! It is Wednesday again...and boy did this past week fly by.

Today we have a new challenge starting over at Pixie Cottage and as you all know we always have two parts to the challenge, so you can either use the lovely sketch that is on the challenge blog or you could follow the theme:

FUN WITH FOOD

and that is the theme we have set for the next weeks challenge, or if your feeling really adventurous you could do both.....either way the DT can't wait to see what everyone will share with us, we always enjoy looking at all the lovely entries....but anyway enough of me blabbering on here is my card for your inspiration this week....

I have attempted a spring card using my hougie board, and this was the very first time I have attempted this type of card, after fiddling a bit I managed it in the end, I am sure it will be a bit easier when I attempt the next one.

My image I used is from Pixie Cottage and it is called Pupcake and it's by one of the lovely designers Artish...I am sure you have all heard of her before...but if not hop over to the Pixie Cottage Shop as there is loads more of fabulous designs which is exclusive to The Pixie Cottage.

I coloured my image using my promarkers. The Scalloped circles was cut out using my Brand New Spellbinders Grand Calibur and some newly acquired nesties. The ribbons was just from my stash.

The weather is a bit of a contrast to what we had over the weekend as it is just raining on end....

What a nice excuse to stay inside and do some crafting....as I have a few DT projects to catch up on.....
