Tag Boys Birthday Card!

Good Evening Everyone,

Wow seems like I am on a roll....lol second card for the day

FRONT OF CARD
Inside of card
Close Up of Image

I made this afternoon after feeling in the mood for a Happy Card, so as Little One has a birthday party coming up I thought this will suit. I made it in the shape of a Tag and just attached it with some glue at the top so it folds open upwards.
The froggy is a rubber stamp I bought of ebay really cheaply, but unfortunately it has no name or I don't have a clue who the manufacturer is. So if anyone has seen it around and know what it's called it will be fab if you leave me a comment.

Paper Pieced Tilda!

Good Afternoon Fellow Bloggers,

I think I am starting to catch up a little after not crafting for nearly two weeks.
Anyway I made this card last night.

I used my very first Tilda stamp I ever bought, as I still love her but I had a few challenges in mind when I started of my card. The main was the Just Magnolia Challenge as it is the sketch I used, secondly Totally Tilda has a challenge for Paper piecing, so as I haven't done that before I decided to have a go so I wanted to pick a simpler stamp to start with. I am quite happy with the end result. The back ground papers I used was from a Mind's Eye Paper stack. The big flower was a sizzix die and the punched border is from Martha Stewart. All the other little bits and bops was from my stash.
So I hope you all like it....

April Showers.....Is it spring yet?

Good Afternoon Bloggers,

How are you all doing on the lovely Spring Day?

I have a few minutes to spare so decided to quickly post this card.

The Image is from the Sonny Honey Cloud Collection from Pollycraft. I had these for a while now but never got round to using them, so when I saw the image I decided straight away that I wanted to use it. I used the sketch from the Sketch & Stash challenge blog to design my card by as I really liked the layout of the sketch. The Image was coloured using my Promarkers which I then cut out using a Cricut machine and then inked the edges using some distress inks. I layered it onto bright orange. The papers is from a Paperstack I bought from Tesco ages ago when I just started out crafting and never used it, so I really liked the designs and thought it is perfect for a Springy card. The brads, buttons and ribbons was very old stash and I had it forever.

So I hope you all like the card.

Easter Bag Continued from Yesterday!

Well. I must apologise as I never got round to finish my posting yesterday! So there might still follow a few post after this one....sorry if you all get sick of me.....lol!

This is another variation of the little easter bags I made for easter.....
Again I used a Cricut machine to cut out the template of the little bag and then assembled it with glue. The egg stamp is from Alotta Rubber stamp which I colored using my Promarkers. the shapes was cut out using my cuttlebug. All the other embellishments was just from my stash.
I hope you like it, again I just made some hand made jewelery to put inside the little bag as a gift.

Altered Item OSCC!

Good Afternoon Followers,

How is everyone doing? Did everyone have a Good Easter weekend? Well, I must apologise as it's been nearly two weeks since I posted anything, I had a bit of a family emergency and hubby ended up in hospital...luckily he made a speedy recovery and everything is slowly but surely returning to normal.

I have a few craft items I have completed the week before his accident and over the weekend so there might follow a few posts after this one.

So the first one I am posting today is a Altered item which was a DT project for the One Stop Craft Challenge. I hope you all joined in on the fun over on our challenge blog.

So firstly I took an old High School Musical Pen holder that has been sitting on my desk for ages, I started by covering it in some designer paper and thereafter decorated with some die cuts and embellishments to created a new fresh looking pen holder for my Promarkers.

Well I hope you all like the end result, I know I did...

Easter Bag 1

Hello Bloggers,
Here's my second post as promised.
I made these little Easter Bags before Easter which I then put some hand made jewellery into which I made as gifts.
The the bags was cut using a cricut machine and then glued together.
The Easter bunny is a Rubber Stamp I won a while back on the Alotta Rubber Stamp Challenge blog. I tried to do some paper piecing on the egg and the bow tie. This was my very first attempt at Paper Piecing. The rest was coloured using my Promarkers.

Something Elegant

Good Afternoon all that follows....

Hope you have had a lovely day so far and that the weather is good at your end. Sun is shining which makes it lovely outside.

Well I needed a little break from bright bold colours so for today I went for a Monochromatic card in shades of blue. I find these monochrome cards quite hard sometimes, but must admit I think I picked an easy image to go with this kind of card today....

I used baby blue pearl card blank for my card, then I added the navy blue embossed panel, which I embossed using my Cuttlebug, and I am actually not too sure what the embossing folder is called as it is one of my very first folders. The paper I used was glitter embossed, I am not too sure where it's from as all the writing on the paper pack is in German I got this off ebay about a year ago and never used it. I then added the punched border which is a Martha Stewart punch and the light blue ribbon. The flowers were hand made using some of the left over backing papers. The image was cut out with a Nellie snellen die. The image was coloured using Promarkers and lastly I added all the lovely Pearls.

Well, Hope you all like it...Thank you for taking time to stop by my blog and I hope you all have a fabulous weekend....

April Showers, Bring May Flowers!

Good Afternoon Everyone,

Well the sun has been shining but we seem to have a lot of gusty winds, which makes it a bit unpleasant outside, so therefore I abondend the gardening this afternoon and ended up making a card instead.

So the new sketchie for this week has been posted by the lovely Rosie on the CMLI forum and she has a theme Rain & Showers, which there is quite a few challenges for this week.

Well hopefully we will have lovely flowers in May after all the rain we've been having.

So I used a Magnolia Tilda stamps which I had for many months and not even used yet, so I thought this will be the ideal oppurtunity get her inked up. I coloured my image using promarkers. The papers is from a Cardmaking & papercraft magazine. I can't remember from where I got the digi sentiment. The big yellow flower was hand made using some punches. The background for the sentiment was embossed using the Swiss dots folder and my cuttlebug. Everything else is just from my stash.

Close Up of the sentiment and embellishments

The Image

So I really hope you all like it and this happy cheery card, makes you all feel a bit brighter.
