Birthday Card for a Special Girl....

Good Evening Everyone,

Well, Yes I also thought the next time I post something it will be a picture of the long awaited addition to the family, but unfortunately for me I am still waiting and the patience is running out slowly...

Hopefully soon....

So instead I have a card to show you all I made today, as I need a birthday card for next week, so I thought I might as well make one seeing I can't do much else at the minute.

My Card

My Card Recipe:

For my card I used the very pretty girl from Saturated Canary, I've had her for a while now, but this is the first card I have made using one of these lovely images from Krista Smith.

I coloured my image using a combination of my Promarkers and some water colour pencils.

The Circles was cut out of some Dovecraft paper which I stamped with a scripture stamp and then added some scribbles with a black pen. I am not normally this adventurous but I just went for it...lol

I just sticked them on white card which I then matted on some black and lastly mounted on my main card which is from Kraft card.

I then added the hessian and ribbon bow.

I then added my image using some silicone glue to give it a bit of an 3D effect.

Lastly I added the Pearls, Pins and the Happy Birthday Sentiment.

Late Post for C.R.A.F.T

Morning All,

How are you all doing? I've been okay all though I have been experiencing a lot of pain the last view days, so I just had to take it a bit easy, so I haven't manage any crafting in the last few days and been bad on the blogging front as well....

But I have a card to share with you today which I made for my GDT position over at C.R.A.F.T...
Yes, I know the post is a bit late too...I am such a bad blogger.....

Anyway here it goes....

I coloured my image using my Promarkers.

And the rest of my layout I just done in White so it made my image 'pop'.

Good Morning Fellow Bloggers

How are you all doing this morning....
I am doing okay, although I am really struggling to get some sleep at night...well not too long to go now, before baby will make it's appearance...

Good Afternoon Everyone,

Hope you all enjoying a lovely Easter Sunday with Family and friends....
The weather is not very nice here today, and we're all just having a lazy day, doing whatever we feel like...mostly just watching some dvd's.

I have a quick card I wanted to share with everyone...
It is a pretty simple design as I wanted to try to keep as much white space as possible, but knowing myself I find that quite hard.....



So I just went for a 6x6 white square card...
Stamped my Simply Sassy from Sugar Nellie onto bright white card using my memento ink and then coloured her using my promarkers. I then cut her out as close to the outline as possible.
I then added the punched border using a Martha Stewart punch and then added the ribbon.
I then glued my image to my card using silicone glue to give it a little bit of dimension.
I then added the little roses and stamped the sentiment on the front.

So, yes I tried to keep it clean and simple.....

Spring with Tilda....

Good Afternoon Blogging Friends,

Hope you all having a Fabulous Good Friday....
Mine has been quite peaceful.
I made a couple of cards earlier this week, but we had no electric for 2 days due to the snow, so I never managed to post them, so I decided to post at least one....before I decide to start my weekend.....

My Card Recipe:

I used a Magnolia Tilda stamp, I have had this stamp for nearly a year now, and only used her once, so I really needed to get her inked up....and I really wanted to created a card with a Spring feel to it.

I coloured my images using my promarkers.

The background papers is from Kanban and it's from the Easter range.

The punched borders is punched out using a Martha Stewart punch and the swirls was cut out using a cricut machine. The paper flowers was hand made using a mixture of dies and punches. 

Well, I really hope you all like it and that you could find something inspiring in this card....

I then cut the oval labels using Spellbinders dies and my Grand Calibur.

I then made an oval scalloped base card using my Grand Scalloped Oval dies.

The Spotty papers I used is from Kanban which I matted on plain purple card. I then added the ribbon and lastly the flowers and the bling....
