I'm Back!

Hi Everyone!

Sorry I have been a bit Awol, family life took a bit over so did not have time for any crafting! But managed one card tonight and probably will be the only one till we get back from our holidays!

So the card above I made as Fathersday is one of these days and not too sure if I will get time for some more Fathersday cards.

Strawberries and Cream!

Good Afternoon Everyone,

So how are everyone doing today? It is a bit miserable and cold here, don't know what happened to summer?

Anyhow so instead of doing some gardening this morning I made a card instead.....don't we just all look for an excuse to make some cards?

So this morning I decided to make a card with no particular challenge in mind apart from the Sweet Sketch Wednesday as the sketch has been on my table since last week wednesday so decided to use the sketch and just go along with whatever next I can lay my hands on and then I will check afterwards which challenges it qualifies for and guess what there is just loads going on at the minute. So I have decide to enter my card in the following challenges.

Sweet Sketch Wednesday which is the sketch

Papertake Weekly wants to see something shiny or sparkly
Stamp Something which is a Birthday Card oh and lastly

The digi was a freebie from Sliekje Digis Stamps, she shares free digi's quite often, so it is worth visiting her blog.

Managed to do a card but nearly did not have time to put it on my blog.

This card I made using a Digi Image from Sassy Designs, just love her digi's their fab.

I made it using the sketch on Papertake Weekly and I am also entering it in the next couple of challenges:

Tomorrow is Saturday and I can't wait as hubby normally comes home early and he is planning to spend some time in the garden, which gives me plenty of time to spend in my craftroom without feeling guilty so who knows you might see a few more cards from me tomorrow.....

Well me next card I did, I used the sketch over on the Pixie Cottage as I wanted to do a Male Card and actually thought it suited just fine!

So I also entered it into the Cute Card Thursday Challenge which has got a Boys/Men theme at the moment! The image was a freebie from Dustin Pike and the papers is from the Papermania For Him Collection.

I have Won!

Morning ALL,

I am so happy to day I won my first challenge over on the I Love Promarkers Blog! The feeling is great and very encouraging so I went straight into crafting mode this morning after receiving the email from the Lovely Karen.

So this is what I came up with for the New challenge on I Love Promarkers Challenge Blog as the theme is wings which there is so many to choose from, the images was a freebie from Dustin Pike and the Papers is from the Cardmaking and Papercraft page the flowers was made using a sizzix die and the rest is just out my stash! Lovely and birght coloured card which I am giving to a girl who is turning 10 on Sunday!

I also entered this card into the following challenges which it happend to qualify for:

I had a very productive day and actually managed three cards for various challenges today! Hope everyone else had a fab day!

This card I made using an image I bought from Pollycraft which I coloured with promarkers, the backing papers was from pollycraft as well and the flowers I made using a tutorial which was on Karen's blog.

and I entered this card into the following challenges:

This card I made using the sketch over on the Lets Get Stamping Group on Craft Bubble, the image was a freebie from Dustin Pike coloured using Promarkers, the backing papers I bought from the Pollycraft Shop!

2. A Spoon full of sugar challenge which has a theme titled 'Fury Friends'

DIY flowers

I am back after a our weekend away, took about all day yesterday to recover.....

There was quite a few blogs at the minute wanting to make your own paper flowers so a gave a few different ones a go...

This card I made using the sketch on the Trulyscrumptious Challenge blog. The flowers papers and backing papers is from Minds Eye!

Tomorrow is Friday!

Hello Everyone!

Yay its Friday tomorrow, does that not just make everyone happy? I just love the weekends!

Managed to make one more card before the weekend and I will be away over the weekend so no more crafting from me for a wee while....

Today's card I made using the sketch over on the Passion for Promarkers Blog as I really thought this was a lovely layout but did give me some hassle think my frames was to big to start with so had to change my card size about 3 times, they alos wanted us to create our own flowers, well mines okay but nothing as flashy as what they got on there, the cards on there is just of such a high standard, luckily I only do it for fun and learn things from these challenges I do everyday.
The next challenge I entered it in to was the challenge over on A spoon full of Sugar blog as they wanted us to 3D something that why I added the second frame on top of my image with some foam squares an my flowers is pretty 3D too in the flesh. I then added the two bows, buttons and the bling in the corners of the frame as this was the recipe they wanted us to use over on the Simon Says Challenge Blog. Then the last challenge I entered it into was the Cuttlebug Spot challenge as they wanted to use your favourite Cuttlebug flowers which I just did!
This was really a whole lot of fun and it gets you thinking specially when entering in a few challenges at a time..but I really enjoyed it and again learned a few new tricks along the line....
Well, Hope you all enjoy the weekend ahead and I will catch up again with everybody on Monday as we will be away for the weekend!

I Love Promarkers!

Evening All,

I have made a Male Birthday Card this afternoon as I do not make many of them as I find them really hard! I made this card using the lovely sketch they have going on the I love Promarkers Challenge Blog. Think my colouring is getting better, just need a few new promarkers...lol

Summer Colours!

Hi Everyone,

Hope you had a fabulous morning so far....
Weather is pretty crap here so not sticking my nose out the door....

Mad another card today with lovely summer colours just has a nice summery feel to it! I made it for a 8th year old which is having a neon colour party on the weekend! I used a free image which is called Mae's Boquet from 'some odd girls blog' which I coloured with my promarkers. The papers was a free download from the Crafts Beautiful Webpage.

I made this card for Challenge 23 on the Sweet Stampin Blog which was a lovely sketch I then added the lovely Silver Charm as they have a Challenge on the One Stop Craft Challenge blog, wanting you to use metallic colours or material.


Well, hope you all enjoyed it and found something inspirational to it!

Fabulous Tuesday!

Morning All,

Firstly I want to say a very Big Thank You for everyone that left some lovely comments on my blog, it is really nice to read through them and see what everyone has to say about my cards it is very uplifting! So THANK YOU!

So today I made a Card using Sketch 9 on the Anyone for Anya blog. I used the colours Aqua to create my card because it just went so well with the image, which then made it qualify for the Challenge on The Pink Elephant Challenge blog as they wanted you to use the colour Aqua.

I really didn't went over board with this card just kept it simple as they sometimes say 'less is sometimes more' I just thought it looked nice without adding anything else to it! But any advice or comments on this is welcome, can't wait to see what everyone thinks!

Lovely Day!

Good Afternoon Everyone,

Hope everyone had a lovely day so far, it is pretty sunny here but unfortuneatly the wind is blowing everything away, so instead of sticking my nose out the door I've been busy this morning making a lovely card for a little girls birthday which is this weekend coming.

So I used a Sugar Nellie image which I coloured using my Promarkers and then I used some very fine glitter on the wings to give it a nice shiny effect. I then used the sketch 99 from the Fridaysketchers Blog and the papers was free from the Cardmaking and Papercraft site I used the colour green as the theme for The Creative Cottage is 'Going Green' I then made my own flowers using my Cuttlebug and the daisy die as the Pollycraft Challenge blog has a challenge on this week requiring you to create your own flowers.

Black, White & 1 Other Colour

Evening All,





Hope everyone Had a good weekend. Mine was pretty busy, but thankfully got a bit of crafty time this afternoon.

I made this card using a Papermania Clear Duo stamp and coloured it with the Magenta Promarker, and then sticked some of the little gems on the images, and the curls was cut with a Cricut machine.

I made this using the colours Black, white and Pink as it is the theme they have got on over on the I love Promarkers Challenge blog. I made this card using a lovely sketch on the Papertake Weekly Challenge. I am quite happy with my end result as I think these colours works well together.

Quick Birthday Card

Hi, Everyone

Forgot my daughter was going to a Birthday Party tomorrow so I had to make a quick Card for the little Girl who is turning 4! So I made this using the sketch for the Pollycraft Monday Challenge which was a lovely sketch with lots of detail and I used a Magnolia Tilda Stamp for the Just magnolia Challenge which has only got a theme this week 'Anything Goes' which made it nice and easy. Hope you all like it, and the Birthday Girl too.

Hello Again

Hope everyone has been having a lovely day so far!

Well, the card below I made today using the sketch from the Sweet Sketch 46 Challenge and the Image is Anya from the Greetings Farm for the Sweet as Sugar Challenge also entered this into the challenge on A spoon full of sugar which has a Happy Birthday theme.

Well hope you all like it has I did struggle a bit with the sketch as I really couldn't decide which papers to use, but with a little help from my crafty friend over on CB I think I found a easier way and will defnitely be approaching my cards in a different way from now on!

Thursday Already!

Hi, Everyone!

Where is this week gone it is Thursday (well nearly Friday) already and the weekend is upon is yeah!

Well I managed two card today the first one I made came out okay not posting it today though, will have a sleep on it first and might post it in the morning!

Well the one I posting I must say I feel very happy about the end result after experiencing a bit of a crafting block yesterday I feel I am getting back on track and that my cards is improving every week (even if I have to say so myself...lol)

So here it goes I made this card using the Mo Manning digital Stamp and colouring it with my promarkers I used some glitter on the fairy wings (which by the way doesn't look to good in the photo but it looks really lovely and shiny if you see it for real) Then I die cut some frames from two different colours of card and the backing paper is from the Papermania Love range, added some ribbon, brads and a peel off and some embellishments from my stash!

So I decided to enter this card in the following challenges which you could go and have a look at if you would like to take part yourself!

The Pixie Cottage Challenge 15 which was a lovely sketch which I used but had to flip it around a bit so that my images could all fit on, and it had to be for a lady (which I made it for one special lady I had in mind)

Secondly was the new challenge over on Mo's Digital Pencil where I got the image from which had a recipe you had to follow by using Ribbon,brads and designer paper!

Simonsaysstampchallenge has got a theme on at the minute 'Things with Wings' as well as Onestopcraftchallenge . So we will see how it goes I might actaully get a bit lucky you never know.

Crafty Cardmakers has got a challenge themed Desert Island which my items for will defnitely be a pack of cards, Promarkers, some stamps. glue and some embellishments!
And my final challenge is why I got the image was the Challenge over on Mo's Digital Pencil which was a lovely sketch we had to follow! So hope everyone enjoys taking part in these challenges!

Just Magnolia Challenge!

Hope everyone had a fabulous day! Was feeling a bit poorly but managed to do one card with the Just Magnolia Challenge in mind which was a fabulous sketch! I have really enjoyed this sketch, so have a look if you would like to participate!

I made this card using my Magnolia Tilda stamp and colouring it with my Lovely Promarkers! The backing Papers is from the Papermania Naughty but Nice Paper Pad!

I made this card using a stamp I got in a free kit when I got my Cardmaking and Papercraft Magazine, which I coloured using my New Promarkers! I then used some papers out one of the magazine's which was a free gift as well and the sentiment was created using a Rub on and some eyelets and Ribbon out my Stash!
I feel pretty happy with the end results, as I am really a Newbie Cardmaker and New to Promarkers, I think my end results is getting better and better so as they say practise makes perfect!

My very last Card for this weekend is for the Challenge on http://onestopcraftchallenge.blogspot.com/2010/04/challenge-76-things-with-wings.html themed 'Things with Wings' as well as over on the creativecottagechallenge blog.

I made this card using one of my New Smirk Stamps and the Backing paper is from the Papermania Spring Time Collection and the flowers was cut using my Cuttlebug and the Pearls and Organza Ribbon was from my stash!

April Showers

Hello Again,

Have been a very productive weekend! I have mad yet another card today using the sketch over on the tulyscrumptious challenge blog http://trulyscrumptiouschallenges.blogspot.com/2010/04/challenge-30-april-showers.html

The theme for the week was April Showers is this is what I came up with!

I made this card using one of my Smirk stamps and colouring bits of it with Promarkers, the background papers is Border strips from the Papermania Flowery range! The little flowers was made using a die and my Cuttlebug and then sticking glass beads on top!

So Here I am back with my Next Card for the day!

I used the image which was a freebie from Cuddly Buddly Crafts because it was a real cutie which you needed for the current challenge over on http://papertakeweekly.blogspot.com/ which the theme is Cutie Pie. I then added the Happy Birthday Sentiment so it could also qualify for the challenge over on http://creativecardcrew.blogspot.com/2010/04/challenge-48-happy-birthday.html as the theme for their fortnightly challenge is Happy Birthday! These are all really lovely blogs go on and check them out!

Seeing Double!

Hope everyone had a good day! Was lovely and Sunny here today but bit windy so spoiled it a bit!



Had a lovely Crafty afternoon and Managed a lovely Card for the New Sketch challenge they have on at the minute on the Lets get stamping group on Craftbubble which I also used the Colours Pink and Brown with Green and Yellow for the Challenge they have got on over at Pollycraftchallengeblog http://polycraftchallengeblog.blogspot.com/.
The Images is from The Heartfelt Collection which I bought from Pollycraft and the Papers is from the Creative Cottage.

I feel happy with this card as I feel my colouring is improving with the Promarkers as I have only had them for a short while now and still a bit of a Newbie when it comes to craftmaking so still learning new things everyday!

First Challenge Entry!

HI, Everyone

Well, Here it goes! I am not very familiar with all this blogging going on and just starting to have a go at this!

Well, I was just reading through a few blog for interesting tips and what hot and what's not!

That is when I came across the Crafty Craftmakers blog and saw the challenge they have got on! Heading: A Challenging Challenge!

After reading through this and a wee think for a couple of days I decided to give it a try!

And the Card above is what I came up with!

This was a Challenging Challenge for me because it was one of my very first Stamps I bought Used it once and then never again as it always seems to have too much shading! Secondly I struggle doing Male cards I do not know why I just find it so much easier to make a girly girl card! These Papers is from Papermania which I bought with probably my very first Craft Stash!

And Thirdly this was a challenge for me in itself as it is my very first attempt to enter a challenge!

And I can be sure it is still going to be a very big Challenge to get this posted correctly and linked! So lets see how it goes!
