Delicious Cinnamon Sugar...

Good Morning Everyone,

Happy Monday Everyone, and Hope all of you have a lovely week ahead...

Well, here on my end I am quite glad the snow is melting and my stuck at home days has come to an end, which I am sure my daughter will be glad, because now she can go back to nursery....

So I have a new card I want to show you all today...I made it after I saw the Whimsy Guest Designer call, and thought I would like to participate as it has been ages since Designing for any Design Teams....but I might change my mind....

But here is my card anyway:

My Recipe:

I used Cinnamon Sugar from Whimsy Stamps...I bought this stamp probably over 6 months ago and never had time to ink her up...so glad I have now, as it was really enjoyable to color her in.

My backing paper is from a 6x6 paper stash - Tea party from Dovecraft, the second layerd paper was just a light pink piece of scrap which i stamped the scripture over with a stamp I have had for ages, then I just distressed the sides a bit and inked it with tattered rose distress ink.

The oval fancy frame is a sizzix die and the Fancy white swirl is a personal Lasercut design☺, which will be in available in my new store once opened....

The Butterfly is a Martha Stewart punch and the ribbon and flowers is just some Old stash....

I coloured this little sweetie using my Promarkers and my favourite colours.

Top Tip:

The swirl I have cut is from MDF.

If you do not want your Lasercut to be the natural colour, simply use some distress ink, or any ink pad, tap it onto the swirl and soon it will change into the colour you want, you might need to do this several times for a more vibrant colour as the MDF does absorb some of the ink, or you can use simply use some embossing powder like I have done on this one, heat it with your heat gun and you have a beautiful coloured swirl in the colour you want....

First Card for 2013....

Hi, Folks

Well hope you have been missing me...lol 

I have definitely missed blogland, but have been away busy planning a whole lot of new things...

Anyway I managed to play a bit today, seeing we have got horrendous weather in the UK at the minute...

So I made a card.....

I used a Canary Love from Saturated Canary which I have had for ages but haven't managed to get round using....

I coloured my images using my pro markers and then layered it onto light blue scalloped oval which I have cut out with my Grand Calibur....surprise I still know how to use it...lol

Anyway the background paper was from a freebie paper pack I got in one of my Card making magazines.

The cut out swirls was a Memory box die and the Wooden elements of course is from my own designs...which will be available in my Etsy shop at the end of January.....but please pop over to my Shop blog and follow me and I have a huge Store Opening Candy up for grabs with loads of Laser cut items up for grab.... so just click on the image below to go to my shop....

Introducing my Shop Blog

Hi, All my Friends and Followers

I am sorry for taking so long to return, but have certainly been very busy.
I have taken on a new venture since I left you all to go have my wonderful darling daughter.

Yes, and it has been 6 months with a lot of changes...lol

I have recently acquired a Laser cutter and have decided to go full steam ahead in Opening and Online Business.
The website is still a working progress, but for now I have opened a Shop Blog to run in the meantime and will continue to do so along my Website once up and running.
