Christmas Decorations at Hobbycutz

Hello, Everyone

We have a Brand New Challenge over on the Hobbycutz Challenge blog, and the challenge running for the next week is to make a Christmas Decoration, now this can be anything from a tree decoration, a wall hanging or a table decoration.

So for my challenge I have made a set of two Christmas Baubles for the little ones to hang on the tree.

I bought two digi stamps from Mo Manning as I just love the little elves and thought they will go well with what I had in mind.

Sorry the photo's is not that good as I the light was a bit of a struggle.

I am quite happy with how these turned out, and the kids love them too.

Been a while...

Hi All my lovely Followers...
Thank you for sticking around I know it's been a while.
I have been crazy busy as you all know, and if you don't here's what I have been keeping busy with.

I have actually made a card for the first times in months today, and it's for the new challenge that started on my challenge blog -

So please hop over and come and have a look.

We have a Brand New Challenge set every Sunday, with lovely inspirational projects from the Design Team.

And no, you don't only have to make a card you are welcome to submit any other projects as long as it fit the challenge set for that week.

So for this week running our Challenge theme is Steampunk.

Our Sponsor for this challenge is Sassy Studio's and we have received some gorgeous images to work with.

So here's my project, I used the Sketch.

So for my card I have used Steampunk Josephine.

I coloured the image using my promarkers and then gave it a bit of a shadow and cut along the lines.

The background papers is a 12x12 sheet I actually got from my Mum's shop while on holiday in South Africa, I have had it for a while, but just knew it will work a treat with this image.

The borders along the edges and the circle doily was cut using my Grand Calibur and some Spellbinders dies.

The Swirls and the gears was from my shop.

I am happy with how it turned out, as it has been a few months since I have actually made a card and I think you kinda lose touch, or maybe not...

Teardrop Shaped Card....

Hello Dear Followers,

And Warm welcome to all my New followers, sorry I know its been a while I posted on my personal blog it is just that Hobbycutz blog takes over...lol

But I decided to share my Card for the New Challenge over at Hobbycutz Challenges with you on here this week...

I went for a Teardrop shape card which I found the tutorial for here on Beccy's Blog

The images is from our sponsor this week Crafts and Me

I coloured my image using promarkers, added some pearls and stickles and then added the ruffled ribbon round the images.

Then I added the flowers and the leaves and butterfly which is available from the Hobbycutz website.

Hello All Followers  Friends....

Well, Today is a little bit special WHY?   Because it is my BIRTHDAY!...lol

And all I wanted for my Birthday was a little bit sunshine....is that to much to ask?

Okay I made another card to showcase some Hobbycutz goodies....

My Image is from Darcy's Diaries -Mummy's Little Helper

I bought this digi last year some time and really haven't used it enough....I just love her...

I coloured my image using my promarkers.

The Trellis I used om my Card is cut using 2mm MDF and is available in My Store -Here

The roses I used is from my stash and the leaves was punched out with a Xcut punch.

The ribbon bow was made with ribbon I purchase a while back of ebay and the Heart pearl Embellishment was from my embellishment box...

Showcasing some Hobbycutz Goodies...

Hello Friends & Followers

Hope you all had a good weekend...and that the weather is a bit better where you are it is NOT nice here...with high winds blowing outside I am not tempted going out very soon....

So instead I have come to show you some inspiration, using some of the products in my store...Oh and Please REMEMBER my DT CALL.

So Here's a card I made:

I used a Magnolia Tilda image and coloured her using my beloved Promarkers....

My papers I used is from a very Old Papermania - Valentines paper stack which I had for absolutely donkeys....lol

The LOVE word I one of my own designs which is Laser cut....yes it is...

I know you all wondering....

It is cut out using 3 mm MDF and then I simply used my Ink pad on it and covered with Lipstick red embossing powder and heat embossed it....and whoa la..... I did exactly the same on the heart and the two smaller hearts in the corner of my card. 

The hearts is available here and the LOVE words will be added by the end of the week so please check back.
